Acting on Tilt or Perceived Tilt or Both...

After celebrating Chinese New Year's and watching some great NBA All-Star Festivities, I decided to get some poker in to start off the New Chinese Year... What a mistake that would turn out for me as I got annihilated on Stars... Dropped about $200 to some sick beats and decided to keep on playing trying to win my money back (big mistake)... I sensed that I was on semi-tilt but then this hand looked so golden for me to get back into the game but (I spare you all the sick beats except this one)...

My overbet here definitely smelled like a bluff/tilt move in which is what I thought my opponent would think I was doing... It couldn't have been any better as I had top 2 vs his top and bottom pair drawing to a 7 and low and behold, "PokerRiverStars" (as Bill Fillmaff puts it) does it again and am down $300 and HAVE to quit before I really tilt...

Even on Tilt, making a good play and all, seems like nothing can go right for me...

What to Watch Tonight on a Super Monday

Well, WWE Raw will not be seen tonight and it so happens that they are in my backyard right now at the Rose Garden... but you know what, I am not going (and the show won't be broadcasted until Thursday). The WWE is shaking right now with the loses of Chris Jericho, Trish Stratus, Lita, Triple H, and Kurt Angle to name a few big stars. The only people I'd like to see before would be Edge and the very hot Mickie James (hubba hubba)!! I guess it'd be fun to BOOOOOOO Cena out of the building but I don't know if that'll work because he's been getting cheered more recently for no good reason...

Onward, as tonight marks even more spectacles on TV... WWE's rival TNA will be airing tonight at 9pm on Spike TV... there are some 5-star (make it 10-star) PPV matches that will definitely help bring TNA to the pinnacle of wrestling with Raw not being on tonight... It's a damn shame that the PPV matches will overlap with the 2nd hour of the 2 hour special of 24 to air tonight (good thing TNA will be replayed on Thursday as well)... Not to mention, a new episode of High Stakes Poker will air tonight at 6!! Get the popcorn out... it's gonna be a good day of TV!!

Lee Gives Me a Sick River...

I was convinced that this clown milked a 10 and just in case he did have a higher boat, I just called his insane overbet on the river with my boat... but damn Lee...

My First Royal!!

After some bad breaks this weak, this was to say the least, a good hand for me... Money got in on the flop as it should as he has two pair to my flopped "Broadway" and flush draw... scary river though as he fills a boat but...

Full Tilt Poker Steps Up!!

Full Tilt Poker's online support doesn't cease to amaze me. After they had server problems a couple of days ago, where I am sure thousands of people lost some of their money in the middle of a hand, will be compensated. It also makes me wonder when a crappy-dappy site AP (Absolute Poker aka Abysmally Piss-poor) or Poker333 isgonna step up to mend an error...

From FTP:

As you may be aware, we suffered a system outage at 11:56PM ET on Sunday, February 4th that forced us to suspend game play on our site for several hours. We have now completed our reconciliation process, and we have made the following adjustments to your account:

If you were sitting at a real money ring game at the time of the outage, any money you had at the table has been returned to your account.

If you were registered for, or were playing in a tournament that was voided during this period, your account has been restored in accordance with our tournament rules.

In addition, and as our way of apologizing for the inconvenience this outage caused, we will credit your account with an extra $50 within the next 48 hours.

If you have any questions regarding the status of your account, please contact us at support@fulltiltpoker.com.

Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you at the table.

Sincerely,

SuperBowl Aftermath

Well, my SuperBowl pick went into dust as the Bears lost and couldn't cover the 6.5 spread. After Devin Hester's opening 92-yeard kickoff return for a TD, the Bears couldn't get anything efficient of the offensive end especially Rex Grossman. Grossman picked a terrible time to have his worst game of the year, throwing two interceptions (one was underthrown and if on target, most likely would have been a TD), along with his costly fumbles/botch snatches. The MVP award may have gone to Peyton Manning but in reality, they should have given it to Grossman, because if there was a half decent QB, the game would have been closer and the chances of a Bear victory would have been substantially greater...

Anywho, congrats to Tony Dungy and the Indy Colts. Long overdue and well deserved!!

Would you go broke with this hand and if not, how would you have played it? Aces with the duece preflop, then turned into trip 2's on the flop, then a flush draw to go with that on the turn, and then my chips go poof...
