Many NBA fans don't know who are beloved Blazer rookie Sergio Rodriquez is. An excuse could range from east-coast fans don't get our games but if they do, they don't start until normally 10pm EST. But the main reason that I don't see any justification for is that our jackass of a coach Nate McMillian doesn't like to play our Steve Nash-like future superstar and when he does, his time is limited to an estimate of about 11 minutes a game, compared to starter Jarret Jack's (who may I add, has been playing like crap lately. Did you see his two airballs in the 4th Quarter and the OT vs. Memphis yesterday?!) 34 minutes a game in which his efficiency is nowhere near Sergio.
Below is a video of Sergio's break out game. Mainly in part, he got playing time was because of Jarrett Jack's injury, but now that Jack is back, Sergio is getting the screw job...

SuperBowl Pick
Well, after a miraculous comeback by the Pats on Sunday, they spoiled my perfect predictions as I went 1-1. Now Tony's Dungy's Colts will meet Lovie Smith's Bears in SuperBowl XLI as this is the first occassion that an African American coach will be coaching in the SuperBowl, let alone two of them.
I normally don't like "the bears" in the stock market (term used for the market declining) and am a fan of "the bulls" (term for a strong, growing market), but in actuality, I don't like (The Chicago) Bulls and am ok with (The Chicago) Bears, mainly because of bad-ass Brian Urlacher. So my pick for SuperBowl XLI will be my upset special, Bears over Colts!

NFL Picks...
Ok, very bad week last week going 1-3 with the only win I notched under my belt was the Bears barely beating the Seahawks... Here are my picks for today's games:
Bears over Saints (surprisingly, the ALL of the ESPN NFL analysts are picking the Saints)...
Patriots over Colts (6/8 ESPN analysts pick the Colts so consider these picks a double upset special picks)...

Why is NETELLER no longer allowing US members to make fund transfers with online gambling sites?
The US government has recently introduced new legislation in the form of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. To best protect the interests of NETELLER members, employees, shareholders and business partners, NETELLER will no longer provide service to US members to transfer funds to and from online gambling merchants. Read the press release.
How do I know if I am a US member?
If your registered address with NETELLER is a US address, you are considered a US member and all of the changes indicated here and in your notification email apply to you.
Why can’t I access my instaCASH funds in my NETELLER account?
NETELLER has made a policy and technical change that has disabled instaCASH for US members.
Will I be able to use instaCASH again?
No decisions have been made regarding the future availability of this product.
Can I still use my NETELLER account?
Yes. All US members and non-US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account for safe online transfers to and from non-gambling merchants, secure peer-to-peer transfers and NETELLER Card withdrawals at ATMs around the world.
Does this change affect withdrawals with NETELLER?
US members who currently have funds in their e-wallet account may keep their funds safe in their account or are free to make withdrawals at any time they choose with a NETELLER Card. US members are not required to withdraw their funds from their NETELLER account.
What’s the quickest and most convenient way to withdraw funds from my NETELLER account?
The NETELLER Card is the quickest and most convenient withdrawal option. When you transfer funds from your NETELLER e-wallet account to your NETELLER Card, you can withdraw those funds from any ATM cash machine on the Cirrus/Maestro network and Pulse Star network, depending on your country of residence. You will have to pay a nominal fee for NETELLER Card withdrawals, but your funds will be available from 15 minutes to an hour after they are transferred to your card. Learn more.
Is my money safe in my NETELLER account?
Yes, your money is safe with NETELLER. All members can hold their funds safely in their NETELLER accounts until such time as they decide to move the funds. The changes in gambling merchant transfers do not affect the ability of US member to maintain funds in their NETELER e-wallet accounts.
NETELLER protects all members’ funds (all deposited, in-transit and un-cleared funds) by holding the value in independent trust accounts. As the largest independent online money transfer business in the world, we maintain our head office in Europe and are a publicly quoted company on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. NETELLER UK Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Am I required to withdraw my money from NETELLER?
No, there is no requirement for US members to withdraw their funds from their e-wallet accounts. US members will still be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet accounts for safe online transactions to non-gambling merchants, secure peer-to-peer transfers and instant payouts with the NETELLER Card.
Does this change affect non-US members?
No, NETELLER customers with registered addresses outside of the US will not be affected by these changes. The company will continue to operate its non-US business as normal, maintaining all existing products, services, customer and merchant support across all the other countries it currently serves.
How can US members find out about changes to their NETELLER services?
NETELLER will continue to notify you of any pertinent changes to your service. All members will continue to have access to this FAQ site for answers to the most commonly asked questions, but members can also register to receive all NETELLER press releases, by signing up for our e-news alert service.
I am a US resident. Can I still become a NETELLER member?
No. We have temporarily suspended the ability for US residents to create a NETELLER e-wallet account.
Why were the founders of your company arrested?
Although we can confirm that Steve Lawrence and John Lefebvre were detained separately while in the United States, we do not know the details surrounding the detention and cannot provide more clarification. We can confirm that both individuals are no longer employees or board members of NETELLER and have not been involved in the day-to-day running of the company for a number of years.
Why was NETELLER stock suspended from trading?
As a precautionary measure, we asked the London AIM Stock Market to temporarily suspend trading in our shares, effective January 16, 2007. We requested this action to help protect all shareholders from any negative impact the recent detentions might have until more facts are known. Once we understand the situation in greater detail, we will ask the AIM to allow our shares to trade again.
Who can I contact for assistance?
If your question has not been answered by this FAQ, or if you require further assistance, please contact NETELLER Customer Service at usmembers@neteller.com or by calling 1-888-258-5859, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note that at we are experiencing higher than normal support volumes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If that's not enough, other e-wallets like Citadel, Central Coin, and eChecks followed NETeller to the exits. For those of you that have used alternative web-wallets that are still eligible to US players, please post them and give me your experiences with them. Let's fight the fight (suggestions?) before it's too late...

Random Thoughts
NFL Postseason
Well, I just missed a perfect 4-0 pick to this weekend's wildcard games no thanks to the Cowboy's field goal debacle (maybe I should start betting for next week's games)... Here are my picks for next week:
* Ravens over Indy
* MVP LT and Chargers over the Pats
* Bears win over Seahawks
* And my upset special, my man and ex-49er QB Jeff Garcia and the Eagles over the Saints!
Just When You Thought Absolute Poker Couldn't get Any Worse...
Not that I've been playing on this horse manuever of a site (haven't even logged on for at least a year now), but stumbling across some poker boards, I've seen a post about Absolute's new and improved (**cough-cough DOWNGRADE) bonus structure:
The Bonus Amount will automatically be added to your Pending Bonus account where it will be held and automatically released to your cash account based on the following easy requirements; for each raked hand (minimum rake of $0.50) you play (you must see the flop) you will receive 1 point, and you will receive 1 point for each $1 of tournament buy-in fee. Please note that the tournament fee is now collected as a 9% of the total of the prize pool and that Pending points will be based on the fee collected rounded up to the closest whole number. For example a $10 tourney will generate $0.90 in fees, and will earn 1 point.
At 75 points $10 will be transferred from your Pending Bonus account to your cash account. Money in your pending account will expire 60 days from the time it was award ed unless it has been transferred to your real money account by meeting the hands played requirements.
Congratulations AP... Not only do you have the worst online poker software and online support in the US, but you now have the hardest bonus-clearing requirements...
Oh, and P.S: You can kiss my ass for screwing with me!!

Why the Cowboys Should Have Gone for it on 4th Down...
Alright, my pick didn't stand as the Cowboys choked to the normally choke-team known as the Seahawks. Obviously, the Cowboy should have gone for the 1st down on 4 and inches since they failed the field goal attempt but here are some other reasons to go with that.
* 4th and inches from the 1 and you need inches to get a 1st down at the half yard line and then get 4 chances to punch in a touchdown and thus, kill more clock.
* Seattle has a very strong offense and with a minute and twenty seconds to go, that is too much time for them and chances are, they would have scored.
* The Seahawks probably have the second best kicker in the game (behind Adam Vinitari) and if I am the Cowboys and the game is down to that guy's foot, I'm yelling, "Oh FUCK"!
* Even if you fail the attempt, you pin them at the one and bring a monster goal line package and try to get a safety.
Let's see how my other picks do today...

Bad Fold?!
Well, this was a pretty good flop for me, but before the action could get to me, it went bet - call - then reraise so I figured that some of my outs were tainted... I have this jinx that if I fold it, I will hit it and low and behold, look what came at the river:

Today, we have (temporarily)lost an iconic "chin" figure (like John Travolta ridiculous chin as he says in the move Face Off, Peter Griffin's "ball chin", and Glen Quagmire's "rump chin" in coach Bill Cowher of the Steelers as he said that he was "resigning." Bill had to be one of my most fav. coaches to watch as he gave quite the priceless facial expressions on sidelines. After some disappointing years of coming so close to winning (but led to some great facial expressions or even blow ups), I was glad to finally see Coach Cowher win the big one... AND againt the team I hate the most, the Seahawks!!
Watching ESPN, John Clayton analyzes that Cowher will sit out the 2007 season but there is a good chance that he will be back in 2008 or 2009 and not necessarily with the Steelers, the team that he has led for 15 years. Hint the word "resign" and not "retire".
So on Cowher's big announcement, I would like to list my fav. NFL coaches' that give the best facial expressions, in no particular order:
* Bill Cowher
* Marty Shottenhimer
* Tom Caughlin
* Brian Billick
* Bill Parcels
* Jeff Fisher
* Herman Edwards
* Jim Mora Sr.
I know I am missing a few names... fill free to give me your picks...
Speaking of picks, I'm gonna give my picks for this weekends NFL Wildcard Playoffs:
- Indy over KC
- Pats over Jets
- My man Garcia and the Eagles over the G-men
- And my upset special, Cowboys over the Seahawks
